First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study checks if removing upper premolars to fix a large overbite in children aged 10-15 increases the risk of obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers will compare kids who had extractions with those who didn't, using sleep tests before and after treatment. The goal is to see if this common orthodontic procedure can lead to breathing problems during sleep.
