New device hopes to zap fatigue away in fibromyalgia and long COVID
NCT ID NCT06170645
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a small device that stimulates the vagus nerve (tVNS) can help people with chronic fatigue from fibromyalgia or long COVID get more out of exercise. 60 adults who still feel very tired after a standard exercise program will use the device during 3 months of supervised physical activity. The goal is to see if the combination reduces fatigue and improves recovery better than exercise alone.
