First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether watching a single episode of the medical drama House M.D. can boost knowledge about neurocysticercosis, a parasitic brain infection that can cause epilepsy. Sixty young adults aged 18-35 will be randomly assigned to either watch the episode or not, and their knowledge will be measured before and after. The goal is to see if entertainment can effectively educate the public about this neglected disease.
