Summary

This study tested a Turkish version of the Johns Hopkins In-Room Independence Scale, which measures a patient's ability to move, use the toilet, and think clearly while in their hospital room. The goal was to help doctors and nurses better understand a patient's fall risk and care needs before they go home. 100 adults took part, and the scale was checked for accuracy and reliability.
