Summary

This early study tests a new way to use a heart-lung machine (ECMO) to support people with severe pulmonary hypertension and right heart failure while they wait for a lung transplant. The goal is to see if this approach can keep patients alive and stable until transplant without major complications. Only 4 participants will be enrolled at Mayo Clinic.
