NCT ID NCT07370350

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how the tongue changes in children and teens with obesity after a 30-week weight loss program. Researchers use ultrasound to measure tongue fat, stiffness, and shape, and see how these relate to sleep apnea. About 100 participants aged 6 to 18 will be scanned before and after the program to better understand tongue health in obesity.
