This study looks at how a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) affects symptoms and blood markers in people with treatment-resistant depression. Fifty patients will receive iTBS sessions over four weeks, while fifty healthy volunteers provide baseline comparisons. Researchers will measure changes in depression severity and analyze blood samples for inflammatory and brain-health markers to better understand why some people respond to this treatment.
