Summary

This study looked at how certain personality traits, physical symptoms without clear cause, and social support relate to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, which cause jaw pain and difficulty chewing. Researchers compared 90 adults with TMJ disorders to healthy volunteers using questionnaires. The goal was to better understand the psychological and social factors that may influence these jaw problems.
