First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a weight-loss drug called tirzepatide can safely help overweight or obese men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer lose weight before their prostate removal surgery. About 30 participants will take the drug and be monitored for side effects. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and safe, not to cure the cancer.
