Weight loss drug may boost prostate surgery outcomes

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether tirzepatide, a weight-loss medication, can help overweight or obese men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer lose weight before prostate removal surgery. The main goal is to see if the program is safe and feasible. About 30 participants will take tirzepatide before their scheduled prostatectomy.
