First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether time-restricted eating (eating all meals within 8 hours or less) can help people with obesity maintain weight loss after a calorie-restricted diet. About 212 participants will follow a diet to lose 8-10% of their weight, then be split into two groups: one eats within an 8-hour window, the other eats over 12 hours or more. The goal is to see which group regains less weight over the next 6 months.
