Summary
This study tests whether a minimally invasive procedure called Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) can reduce acid reflux and prevent Barrett's esophagus from coming back after successful ablation. Barrett's esophagus is a precancerous condition where the lining of the esophagus changes, and it often returns even after treatment. The TIF procedure is done through the mouth with no external cuts and aims to tighten the valve between the stomach and esophagus. Researchers will measure if participants have normal acid exposure and if they can stop taking acid-reducing medications.
