First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This pilot study compares two approaches for managing thyroid nodules that look suspicious on ultrasound: immediate biopsy (usual care) versus active monitoring with regular ultrasounds. The goal is to see which approach leads to less anxiety and better quality of life for patients. About 20 adults with small nodules (2 cm or less) will take part.
