Summary
This study tests a new text messaging program called CAPTURE for caregivers of people with dementia after an emergency department visit. The program sends up to two tailored texts per day for 30 days, covering topics like symptom monitoring, caregiver well-being, and community resources. Researchers will enroll 80 caregivers to see if the program is feasible, usable, and acceptable.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a simple, low-cost way to support dementia caregivers after emergency visits, reducing stress and improving care.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study testing feasibility, not effectiveness. The program may not work for all caregivers or may not reduce burden significantly.
