First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests if giving terlipressin during kidney transplant surgery helps maintain blood pressure better than standard drugs. About 150 adults with kidney failure will be randomly assigned to receive either terlipressin plus dobutamine or dobutamine alone. The goal is to see if terlipressin reduces the need for dialysis in the first week after transplant and improves kidney function.
