Phone app aims to ease the heavy burden of cancer symptoms for rural patients
NCT ID NCT07102212
Summary
This study is testing a phone app called FOCUS that teaches coping skills to help people with advanced cancer manage common symptoms like fatigue, anxiety, depression, and sleep problems. It aims to make this support more accessible to patients living in rural areas who may have trouble getting to in-person care. The research will see if using the app improves patients' symptoms and quality of life.
