Summary

This study tested whether telehealth follow-up (phone calls and education) after total knee replacement helps patients recover function, self-care, and daily activities better than standard discharge instructions. 64 adults who had knee replacement surgery took part. The intervention group received 14 days of nurse-led phone support after leaving the hospital.
