NCT ID NCT07480252

First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether Tecar therapy, a non-invasive treatment that uses high-frequency energy to reach deep tissues, can reduce pain and improve movement in people with lumbar radiculopathy (nerve-related back and leg pain). Ninety adults with recent symptoms will be randomly assigned to receive either standard physical therapy, Tecar therapy plus standard care, or a sham (fake) Tecar treatment. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and nerve function over 12 weeks to see if Tecar offers extra benefits beyond usual care.
