Scientists reprogram Patients' own cells to hunt cancer

NCT ID NCT02869217

Summary

This early-stage study tests a personalized cell therapy for people with advanced solid tumors. Doctors collect a patient's own immune cells, genetically modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer, then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to check if this treatment is safe and to find the right dose for future studies.
