New combo therapy aims to zap neck pain without surgery
NCT ID NCT07557823
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle nerve stimulation device (taVNS) to a standard neck injection can better relieve pain from pinched nerves in the neck. About 80 adults with cervical radiculopathy will be randomly assigned to get either the real device or a sham device along with the injection. The main goal is to see if more people report at least 50% less pain after the procedure.
