First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a combination of a cancer-killing virus (T-VEC) and radiation therapy in 40 adults with newly diagnosed soft tissue sarcoma that can be surgically removed. The goal is to see if this approach destroys more tumor cells before surgery and to check for side effects. T-VEC is a modified virus that attacks cancer cells and boosts the immune system.
