Summary

This study compares stevia-sweetened drinks, sugary drinks, and flavored water in children ages 8-12 who regularly drink sugary beverages. Over 8 to 14 weeks, researchers will measure changes in weight, body fat, insulin resistance, blood fats, and blood pressure. The goal is to see if stevia offers metabolic benefits similar to water.
