This trial tests whether suzetrigine (Journavx), a newly approved non-opioid pain medication, can effectively control pain after thumb basal joint replacement surgery. One hundred adults aged 40 to 80 will receive suzetrigine plus acetaminophen for five days after surgery, and their pain levels will be tracked.
