First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests two methods to strengthen the staple line during weight-loss sleeve surgery: using a medical glue (cyanoacrylate) or a piece of the patient's own abdominal tissue (omentum). The goal is to see which approach better prevents complications like bleeding, pain, or leaks after surgery. About 100 adults aged 18-65 with obesity will take part and be followed for one month.
