Could a simple suction device improve acne scar treatment?
NCT ID NCT01696513
First seen Jul 01, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding suction from a microdermabrasion device to the standard scar treatment (subcision) can improve rolling acne scars more than the standard treatment alone. Each participant receives both treatments on different sides of their face so the results can be compared directly. The study includes adults with rolling acne scars who are in good health.
