First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests Juläine, an injectable made from polylactic acid, to see if it can safely improve facial acne scars. About 55 adults with moderate to severe scars will receive either Juläine or a placebo (saline) over three sessions. Researchers will track changes in scar appearance and skin health for 12 months.

- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could offer a safe, non-surgical option to reduce the appearance of acne scars and improve skin quality.
