Summary

This study tested whether a cream made from icariin, a plant compound, can improve acne and reduce acne scars. Twenty-five adults applied the cream or a control solution to their face twice daily for two months. The goal was to see if it lowers the number of pimples and scars and what changes happen in the skin.
