NCT ID NCT07487467
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early study is testing a new treatment for type 2 diabetes. Doctors will take a small amount of fat from each patient, use a special laser to prepare it, and then inject it into the lining of the small intestine. The goal is to see if this can safely improve blood sugar control and pancreatic function. Only 10 adults with type 2 diabetes who are not on insulin will participate, and they will be followed for 6 months.
