First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether two drugs, colchicine and ticagrelor, can reduce inflammation and lower the risk of another stroke or heart attack in people who have already had a stroke. About 2,800 high-risk participants will take these medications alongside standard care. The goal is to see if this approach prevents future cardiovascular events.
