NCT ID NCT02591303
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at how stress and insomnia influence each other in 36 women aged 20-50. Half had insomnia, half slept well. Researchers measured stress reactions during a driving simulation and tracked sleep afterward. The goal was to understand how emotional stress affects sleep and how poor sleep makes stress worse, which could help prevent short-term sleep problems from becoming long-term insomnia.
