First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app called Ghostly can help hospitalized patients—including those recovering from stroke, COVID-19, or frailty—regain muscle strength. Fifteen participants used the app for guided strength exercises, and researchers measured changes in muscle strength and size. The goal was to see if the app is a practical and effective tool for in-hospital rehabilitation.
