Summary
This study tested a program called SSAGE that works with the whole family—including brothers—to prevent mental health problems in teenage girls who were forced to leave their homes. The program was designed for girls and their families who recently moved to Colombia from Venezuela. Researchers measured whether the program reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression one month after it ended.
