Cup stacking could boost brain health in dementia patients and ease caregiver stress

Summary

This study tests whether a sport stacking (cup stacking) program can improve health and quality of life for people with mild dementia and their family caregivers. About 144 pairs (person with dementia and their caregiver) will take part in online group sessions and home practice over 18 weeks. The goal is to see if this fun, active program helps with thinking skills, mood, and the relationship between the person with dementia and their caregiver.
