New radiation approach aims to stop pancreatic cancer return after surgery

NCT ID NCT05043857

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a precise radiation technique called SBRT given after surgery for pancreatic cancer. The goal is to lower the chance of the cancer coming back in the same area. About 50 adults who had surgery and have high-risk features (like positive lymph nodes or close margins) will receive this short-course radiation. Researchers will track local recurrence, disease-free time, and overall survival.
