Summary
This study is testing a phone-based counseling program designed to help Veterans who have chronic pain quit smoking. The program uses automated phone calls (IVR) to provide support and strategies. Researchers want to see if this approach helps people quit smoking more successfully and reduces how much pain interferes with their daily life.
