New phone program aims to help veterans in pain kick the habit

Summary
This study tests a telephone-based program to help 220 veterans who smoke and have chronic pain quit smoking. The program uses interactive voice response (IVR) to provide support and track progress. Researchers will measure how many participants stay smoke-free for 6 to 12 months.
