Can a smartphone app help heart failure patients get fitter?

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week smartphone-assisted cardiac rehabilitation program, guided by a case manager, can improve exercise ability and daily life in 150 adults with stable heart failure. Participants will be randomly assigned to the smartphone program or usual care. The goal is to see if the program is feasible and leads to better exercise capacity and adherence.
