First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested a program that sends text reminders and uses social support and game-like features to encourage people with chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure to check their blood pressure regularly. 70 adults who own a smartphone took part. The goal was to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, not to prove it works yet.
