Summary
This study looked at 149 adults with high blood pressure and insomnia to understand how poor sleep might increase the risk of heart disease. Researchers used a type of talk therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and measured changes in blood pressure and sleep quality over six months. The goal was to find out if improving sleep could help lower nighttime blood pressure and reduce heart risks.
