Heart failure drug withdrawal trial aims to simplify treatment

NCT ID NCT07489547

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether people with stable heart failure whose heart function has improved can safely stop taking a type of medication called a mineralocorticoid antagonist (MRA). Researchers will monitor 90 participants over 24 weeks to see if stopping the drug leads to a decline in heart function or other health issues. The goal is to find out if it's safe to simplify treatment for some patients.
