Herbal injection may improve circulation in septic shock

Summary

This small pilot study tests whether a Chinese herbal medicine called Shenfu Injection can improve blood flow in people with septic shock, a life-threatening condition. Twenty adults in the ICU will receive the injection, and doctors will measure changes in circulation and oxygen levels. The goal is to gather early evidence to plan larger studies.
