Summary

This study looks at whether one type of anesthesia (propofol) can lower the chance of confusion or delirium after surgery in older adults with diabetes, compared to another (sevoflurane). About 450 people aged 60 and older having non-heart surgery will take part. The goal is to find better ways to keep the mind clear after an operation.
