NCT ID NCT07511634
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study will compare two common anesthetic gases, sevoflurane and desflurane, to see how they affect a pain monitor called ANI in 80 adults having surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two gases, and their pain responses will be measured. The goal is to understand which gas allows better pain tracking, not to provide a new treatment.
