New imaging study aims to Fine-Tune cancer radiation doses

Summary
This study looks at how SPECT imaging can help doctors measure the amount of radiation reaching healthy organs during certain cancer treatments. About 80 adults with advanced prostate or other cancers will get extra SPECT scans before and after their standard radiation therapy. The goal is to improve dosing and reduce side effects, but no new drugs or treatments are being tested.
