Summary

This study looks at how Salvation Army staff can help people who smoke learn about and use free quit-smoking services, like the Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line. Researchers will train staff to offer a short survey that gives feedback on smoking risks and treatment options. The goal is to see if this approach increases referrals to quit-line services and helps people stop smoking. About 233 adults who use Salvation Army services will take part.
