New hope for prostate cancer recurrence: precise radiation without major surgery
NCT ID NCT06508567
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a precise radiation treatment (MR-guided high-dose-rate brachytherapy) for men whose prostate cancer has returned in the prostate bed after previous radiotherapy. About 20 participants will receive this targeted therapy to see if it can control the cancer with acceptable side effects. The goal is to manage the disease rather than cure it, as ongoing monitoring is needed.
