New program aims to speed up cancer care for rural patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a support program called CARES helps rural cancer patients start treatment sooner and complete it faster. The program provides navigation help and counseling sessions alongside usual cancer care. Researchers will compare outcomes for 320 patients who either receive this extra support or get standard care with resource lists.
