New shoulder surgery technique tested for better recovery

Summary
This study compares a newer, rotator cuff sparing surgical approach to the traditional method for total shoulder replacement in 108 adults with osteoarthritis or inflammatory arthritis. The goal is to see which approach leads to better shoulder function and tendon health after surgery. Participants will be followed for at least two years.
