NCT ID NCT05832229
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether rosuvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering drug, can safely slow or stop liver scarring (cirrhosis) compared to a placebo. About 256 adults with compensated cirrhosis will take the drug or placebo for 2 years. The main goal is to measure changes in liver stiffness, a sign of disease progression.
