First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares two drugs—remifentanil (a strong painkiller) and rocuronium (a muscle relaxant)—to see which one works better for placing a breathing tube using a video laryngoscope during general anesthesia. About 2,648 adults undergoing surgery will participate. The goal is to reduce complications like low oxygen, heart issues, and sore throat, and to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
