First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study will observe 150 adults undergoing rapid sequence induction, a common emergency anesthesia technique, to measure pain using a special monitor called the Analgesia Nociception Index (ANI). Researchers want to see how pain levels change during the procedure and what complications, like low oxygen or blood pressure, may occur. The goal is to better understand and manage pain in these urgent situations.
