Summary

This small study tested whether using a rocking chair for an hour each day could help reduce agitation in elderly people with dementia. Twelve nursing home residents took part in daily rocking sessions for six weeks. Researchers measured changes in agitation, use of calming medications, and pain levels before and after the therapy.
